China Develops WCDMA Chip
January 05, 2006
China's Southeast University and Seucomm have co-developed a WCDMA chip, which meets international standards and boasts strong performance under adverse conditions. With a two to three-fold higher transmission rate in comparison with CDMA 2000 chips and the adoption of several low power-consumption technologies, this chip is said to be able to boost transmission speed, communications quality, and standby time of handsets.
